I can’t remember ever writing a review about a gas station. Aren’t they all the same? In a word, no.

This place is disgusting. Trash throughput the parking lot, grime on dispensers and handles, and old dried up food in the warmers. It’s a gas station though, so all that is secondary, right? We’ll the fuel pumps don’t have receipt paper either, the tap-to-pay readers don’t seem to work and most irritatingly you have to hold the pump handle the entire time because the lever seems too worn out to hold the lock in place.

If a gas station is going to rip off the Buc-ee’s brand name (this place is called Bucky’s) then rip off how clean and functional that brand is at the same time. They’ve literally given you the blueprint and you are mimicking their name!

I’ve worked as a gas station attendant and understand what it’s like. Lots of cleaning and organization to do. However, it’s also not rocket science and only low effort and bad ownership explains the condition of a station which could actually be nice - unlike this one. I won’t be back and wish I had gone across the street so I didn’t have to waste my time writing a review like this.

Great Location and easily accessible from Clay rd and Gessner Rd. I would have given 5 stars but they need some serious help with their fountain drink area. I tried 6 or 7 different types of soda to try and find one that tastes decent enough to actually purchase since I dirtied a cup after the failed first attempt. Never found one so I paid for whatever I had in it when I gave up and threw it away at the pumps.

Terrible location to go to at night. They only accepted cash. I couldn’t even withdraw money from an atm.

Me and a few other customers waited in line for 7 minutes before someone came. One of the employees just kept sweeping as if we weren’t there.

Sometimes the cashiers at night are a bit rude.
Great selection of drinks and snacks. Probably the only good thing about this location.

Like Native Americans watching the railroad become their reality, I watched the internet arrive. This is my first time posting a review. Compelled to leave my innocence on this hill as google shares a healthy portion of fault in the matter.

Buc-ees aren't everywhere. If you spend time near where they do exist, you'll understand. If you aren't proximity to a Buc-ee's, move!
Burning up 290 into Houston, ask google for salvation. Location shown pretty deep into the metro. Thought it odd, but better than fracturing off the freeway. Hit Start.
Pulled up anticipating a smaller concept (see; Rosenberg). Instead, disappointment stood and undid its belt.
Bucky's is the name of this place.
Buc-ee's is the name of the place you want to be at.

(-150 points) google: not training their entity on the difference
(+1000 points) whoever: naming this business

Warning! I just stopped by to fuel up, the pump was incredibly slow. That’s not a huge issue, what is the issue is that when I decided to stop fueling after several minutes, I removed the pump from my fuel tank, the nozzle was off but I noticed the pump kept charging my credit card, funny thing is no gas was coming out of the pump. I will be contacting whatever authority handles this type of discrepancy immediately. I managed to warn other drivers while I was speaking to the cashier on staff, he was of no help although I had him come out to witness what was occurring. All he said was “I’m just a cashier” , he couldn’t or wouldn’t refund at least some of the charge, I’m glad I stopped at $24.00. My fuel needle only moved a little, which indicates to me I got ripped off.

Update: I did manage to contact the local state department that monitors compliance, this office actually kept me informed of their compliance investigation and what their findings were. The fueling station is actually monitored so as to ensure this business has taken the appropriate measures to correct discrepancies with fuel pumps.

I have tried to give this Nasty place time to get right but I can’t let this pass any longer. Side note. I come here 2 to 3 times a week. Y as a woman I/we have to enter the ladies room with this mess. Smells like P, and I’ll let the photos do the rest. From the front door to the last stall.

Won't be back. They don't honor the sale signs posted all of the store. The cashier said maybe the sale was over. It wasn't, so he said if not programmed in the system/register then it's not on sale. He couldn't over-ride the system. Really, it was just Hostess donuts 2 for $4. The store was great when it first opened. Has really gone down. ?

Today the guy behind the counter called me a not so pleasant name in Spanish and then tried to play it off as a compliment. I will be going to corporate because of this. Im sure they do this all of the time.
